Every Friday night at Ashley Pond - half the town shows up to hear a concert.
The concerts start at 7 - and you can find parking close by up until 7. There are lots of food trucks, bounce houses and booths selling stuff. Families and kids spread out in blankets and folding chairs and the atmosphere is really laid back. The concerts vary - although the Red Elvises will usually come at least once (they are a town favorite). There is guitar, country - and all family friendly muscians. People dance - people talk and kids run around. Did I mention that the atmosphere is really laid back?
